Event Details
What is fair trade? While it is an ethical standard working on both ends of supply chain for sustainable production and consumption, what does it mean to your business?
We are pleased to conduct our Sustainability Series with a talk by Ms Maria Cheung, Chief Executive of Fair Trade Hong Kong Foundation, who will share with us how fair trade contributes to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), what it means in our ESG reporting, and how companies or individuals can incorporate fair trade in daily lives.
The Talk will be followed by an optional Coffee Ground Dyeing Workshop for those who join in person. Participants can experience hands-on tie-dying using natural coffee ground.
Not only can participants bring their own upcycled handkerchiefs with beautiful patterns home, but they will also have a glance of fair trade around the world.
